From the Family of John Shields

Susan, Veronica and family wish to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and expressions of sympathy on John's recent death.

As you know, John had borne his disabilities with great dignity over the seven and a half years since his first stroke, and in his own way, enjoyed being in the familiar surroundings of his beloved home and Breedon.

He was never happier than when he was being driven around Breedon and the surrounding villages and could stop and have a 'chat' with all his old friends.
